Hi All,

Can anyone here please share some steps in how to reset the local account in VCenter: vsphere.local\Service-Acct1 ?

Since I can not find it in my AD, so I assume it is local vSphere account.

yes its a local vmware account, setup during installation of vcenter server. to change the password you will need to login to web client as SSO admin

To change the password for the Administrator:
Log into the vSphere Web Client with an SSO administrator user
Click Administration.
Click Users and Groups under Single Sign-On.
Right-click Administrator under the Users tab.
Click Edit User.
Change the password for the Administrator.
