Hi,<br />
Windows 10, I'm having difficulties with a pc which regularly logs on to other networks and domains.<br />
<br />
When the user returns to three main office and logs in, he gets no internet access, and an ip in a 169 range.<br />
<br />
I give him a static ip within the correct range, and although this gets him internet access, the network centre reports no internet access, and the network icon has a red x.<br />

Any ideas please?

Network status says no internet, but this is incorrect

The Windows operating systems have distinct methodologies for designing and implementing networks, and have specific systems to accomplish various networking processes, such as Exchange for email, Sharepoint for shared files and programs, and IIS for delivery of web pages. Microsoft also produces server technologies for networked database use, security and virtualization.
