Hi

I just bought a domain at Godaddy for my next operation can-not-possibly-fail

and I got a confirmation request email, from domainsbyproxy.com

I don't seem to remember this before?

Is this legit?

Thanks

Did you sign up for 'privacy'?  That is the service that domainsbyproxy.com offers and it is owned by Godaddy.  For what it's worth, I Never sign up for 'privacy'.  If you are in business, people need to know who you are.  And if you are really in business, they will find out by other means any way.  In California, you have to use your real home address to get a business license.

And by the way, "can-not-possibly-fail" does not describe anything on the internet.  I have dealt with over 20 hosting companies and they have all, I say ALL, failed to some degree at some time.

Hi,

It depends on how you use for validation, if you wanna use mail services like google, they will look for validation, if you have a dns server on public on your own, you just have to update the NS Entries and you have to configure individual records on your DNS server..
