If you use the reference of formula cell itself in the formula, you will get an circular reference error.<br />
If your values are in column O, you can try that formula in another blank column on the sheet and later you can copy the formula cells back to column O as Values only if you don't want column O values to remain intact.

Maybe the specific formula that you were looking for is the CONVERT function.<br />
<br />
It can be used to do numerous conversions; weight, volume, distance, speed etc etc.<br />
<br />
For your question the function would be:<br />

=CONVERT(A1,&quot;ozm&quot;,&quot;g&quot;) &nbsp; where your Ounce weight is in A1, the formula in another cell will then show Grammes.<br />
