IMAP outlook account to move to another laptop...

Hello

I have 2 Gmail accounts that I am receiving in Outlook 2016 (Office365) as IMAP.
they are huge accounts that have over 35.000 Emails.

I am about to change my Laptop and would like to transfer those accounts to the other laptop without having to re download them again ( it would take weeks to get it done! )

my problem is that IMAP are creates as .ost and I have looked around and it seems there is no way to do so.

Did I look deep enough ? Is there out there a solution to my issue ?

Thanks

convert Ost to PST and move to other machine ....
and attach it ad additional database...

if you want to continue it with pst ..configure google account as pop3 and use this data as primary... that's it..

all the best
You can Use the ForcePSTPath regedit to change the default *.pst or Outlook 2013/2016 IMAP and EAS *.ost path. This key works for for POP3, IMAP, and SharePoint data files but does not affect Exchange and Outlook Connector ost files; the Exchange and Outlook Connector ost files are always saved in default path under the user account (C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

+1 : i'd second the export to pst method and reimport

but you may also actually want to determine the sync time accurately. synchronising even a completely full gmail account takes less than 2 hours with my connection ( which is actually faster than what gmail can provide ) and would be performed overnight on a regular not too fast ADSL line... unless you are using an old 33k connection or a satcon, your expectations seem very pessimistic to me.

additionally, you can setup imap accounts so messages bigger than for example 50k are not downloaded on the fly ( but you'll get the headers so the listing is fine and the actual message would be downloaded on demand anyway ). with such settings, even a 3G mobile phone will sync the headers for 35k email in about an hour tops and possibly much less.
IMAP ost cannot be moved or transferred from one machine to the other. In order to do so, the file data has to be migrated into a PST file. Let's see how to migrate from IMAP  to POP. http://www.solutions.microsoftostconverter.com/blog/how-to-migrate-from-imap-to-pop.html
