Clicking an Outlook (local Postoffice) Search Folder gives "The attempted operation failed. An object could not be found."
I tried starting Outlook in Safe mode and with the /Cleanfinders option, but neither worked. I found the following 823127 reference in a Microsoft support page (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/831402/how-to-troubleshoot-search-folders-in-outlook-2010,-outlook-2007,-and-outlook-2003) but it is a broken link.

Excellent point! I had not done my archives - which are substantial, but after having ran SCANPST on all PST's, I still get this error when I select any of the search folders (All Mail, Larger Than 100 DB, Unread Mail, Sent Directly to Me, etc.)

After running SCANPST on all of my PST files, I now get the message (just below the search input area) that says "Something went wrong and your search couldn't be completed." however, my searches DO seem to be working normally apart from this annoying message with a yellow exclamation triangle.

After much searching, I found I could delete the search folders and re-create them solving this issue.
Search your C drive to find it.
