Exchange 2007 to 2013 send connector issue

We are 90% there, but having issues with a simple piece that is causing issues. We can receive emails sent to a test mailbox on Exc 2013 server from both internal 2007 users and external users. We can also send to external user, but not to internal 2007 users. It appears to get caught up on with ether the 2013 Send connector or the 2007 receive connector. Not sure how to trouble shoot this or look at logs to determine error location.

Hi,

Compare the authentication types allowed on the recieve connectors for old and new server.

I can see the outbound emails in the Exchange 2013 queue. Log results on Exchange 2007 do not show any inbound emails from test 2013 mailbox.

SSL certs on both servers are functioning properly. This was tested by OWA access both internally and externally.

opened the permissions up and crested a dedicated send connector for the internal domain names. That worked well.
