We have a hosted exchange server. I have set up the correct Autodiscovery record for our external domain and it works from outside of our network. Our internal Active Directory Domain has the same domain name. I cant seem to get Autodiscovery to work from our internal network. I contacted the Exchange provider and the told me to make the following registry changes on all my internal PCs.
"The fix is to create the following Registry keys on necessary machines:
Open the registry: Run > regedit.exe (requires Admin permissions)
Outlook 2010: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover
Outlook 2013: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover
Outlook 2016: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover
and create these DWORD values:
"ExcludeScpLookup"=dword:00000001 (forces Outlook to exclude SCP object check)
Important: It's recommended to reboot PC after making changes in the registry."
I would hope there is an easier way then to make these changes on every pc. I would need to do this myself and I have 3 locations, with around 60 users. Is there an internal DNS record that I could add to our network instead?
