Using 64bit OS

By Installing windows 7 64bit by custom method makes my PC slow ????????
PC features
1) Intel Pentium G2030 processor
2) 500 GB hard disk
3)4GB RAM
4)2 GB GRAPHICS
CAN INSTALLING 64BIT ON THIS PC WHICH IS RUNNING ON 32BIT CAN BE SLOW AFTER INSTALLATION OF 64BIT????????????
