How to force the Combo box to refresh when setting its first column (col 0) from another Form.
Hi All,,,
Q: How to force the Combo box to refresh when setting its first column (col 0) from another Form.
I have a form which has a Combo Box that shows 3 columns (0-2).
On the After Update, I set the values of cols. 1 & 2 to other 2 controls in the same Form by VB like this:
Private Sub CmboAccoutInfo_AfterUpdate ()
Me!cname = Me!CmboAccoutInfo.Column(1 )
Me!salesm = Me!CmboAccoutInfo.Column(2 )
End Sub
While this Form is Active behind, I send a valid value to its 'Col 0', but it does not update the 2 the above 2 controls as it would do when on the form itself.
Any help please.

Thanks
But since am not a VB expert, can you elaborate little more.
am using a macro action to set the combo box values, which is working fine. So where shall I stick the above VB ?
Thanks or your patience.

Sorry I don't use macros ...
But that code would have to go in what ever control on the other form your are trying to refresh the combo (etc) from.
