Hi All,

In a Web Proxy set up, is there a way to identify, what policy is applied to a particular user/ ip address ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you are using Active Directory policies you can use gpresult in the command prompt.

you would have to look at the web proxy config file, to see who has what permission.

Thank you Trent and Nattygerg for your feedback!

We are using a Web gateway, and have created a general policy , that permits access to most websites .
For some reason a single user is unable to access some websites, that are otherwise allowed for this category.

How do we go about troubleshooting the same?
