Remote Desktop Services in AWS
Hello Experts,
We have a Windows 2012 Server in AWS (N.Virginaia - US) and would like to install Remote Desktop Services role so we can have 5 concurrent users and they login with their AD credentials.
Currently the server is in a workgroup and has no access to our Domain in the UK!
We need to keep the data in the US so the RDS needs to stay in AWS -US region
What I intend to do is:
Setup a IPSEC VPN tunnel from AWS to the UK datacentre (Domain Controllers)
Purchase 5 RDS User Cals.
Please let me know your thoughts and if there is any other options I should be considering.

Have you thought about using AWS Workspaces for the desktop access, and using them to access your data on the server?
