It depends. The line of sight would be very good, so I expect the signal would carry beyond 30 feet. <br />

I get good 5 GHz signal from my basement to the second floor (more than 20 feet via obstacles). <br />

So any reasonable ceiling height should work, &nbsp;but you would need to test.
