Ceiling heights max for internal antennas - Cisco 3702i access points
What is the appropriate max height if your want good 5GHz coverage at 11db or 14 db - 20 feet or higher?
Thanks

I am sure the ceilings can be 20 feet high but do not need to be. We get good coverage where ceilings are about 9 feet.

Sorry, let me re-state the question. What would be the maximum height for good 5GHz coverage @ 11db or 14db.
Thanks

It depends. The line of sight would be very good, so I expect the signal would carry beyond 30 feet.
I get good 5 GHz signal from my basement to the second floor (more than 20 feet via obstacles).
So any reasonable ceiling height should work, but you would need to test.

At those DB you should be fine with a little more than 20ft with obstacle more is direct line of sight
