Hi,

I found this command for solving the lock file "postmaster.pid" already exists in postgresql
You could stop your server doing :

pg_ctl -D /usr/local/var/postgres stop

Where did the command should be run?
I was tried to execute using run & command prompt not working.I have a error message please find the attachment file.
