We have an issue with our server. It's an HP Proliant DL 380 Generation 8 server. The ethernet link keeps going down and so does the ILO. I want to update the firmware. There's nothing on the server itself. OS is Windows 2012 R2.
What do you download in order for the firmware to get updated? Is it the HP smart update manager?
HP SUM is the best option but it's a restricted download because it covers BIOS as well and HPE won't let you have BIOS without a support contract.
