Host 'myserver' is not allowed to connnect to this MySQL server
I don't know what happened. I have a windows server 2008 R2 enterprise running .net and wordpress websites. I just installed the Wordpress stuff on the server. Now when I go to a site that is .net I get This error:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Configuration Error
Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.
Parser Error Message: Host 'CIDDDEV.ad.unc.edu' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server
Source Error:
An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

I don't know what to do about this.

Wordpress doesn't use .net it is written in PHP. Which server holds mysql?

After deleting the entry that WordPress made in my machine.config file my .net stuff started working again. But it may have mess up something on one of my WordPress sites. I don't know yet. ??????
