Redirect old website to new website in subfolder using .htaccess

What is the best way to redirect my old website and any old links not found from?

http://www.mywebsite.com.au/

to

Are the www and non-www hosted on the same server? Are there any www links you would like to pass through, or is this 100% unconditional redirection?
