Skype for Business (Conversation Sync between all platforms)

I don't know if this is the expected experience when going to Skype for Business Online, after moving users from Lync 2013 to Skype for Business (O365)....

When a S4B conversation is initiated on a mobile device (iOS or Android app) it will push to the recipients S4B client either on their Windows PC or mobile device.

Once they respond, the conversation is only then visible on the device where it was answered on.

Is there any way to have the entire conversation display on all platforms where the user is logged into? I keep getting complaints that people get the conversation on their mobile devices, then when they go to the S4B client on a PC at the office, they don't have the conversation to reference, and have to see if they can get the info from the mobile device.

Is this the norm or am I doing something wrong?

Our Exchange Environment is Exchange Online with Skype for Business Online (both O365) though we are still using a hybrid setup between both Exchange and Skype while we finish up the last few hundred on-prem user migrations to the cloud.

Thanks in advance for any useful guidance.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Sadly, it's the expected behavior. You should still be able to see it in Conversation History (assuming you've setup the integration with on-prem).

And in general, I would avoid using the mobile clients where possible. I've had numerous occasions where conversations were gone without trace because a mobile client was involved, and the only way to recover them was via eDiscovery.
