Shell script issue

how can i move the file name along with extension, present inside a directory, to a table, using shell script and give their default processed indicator as 'N' in the second column of the table.

Please help

This Question doesn't make a lot of sense... What do mean by Table..., SpreadSheet, Database, File, ???
If so what is in the table only 2 columns?
Any other requirements?
What shell language?
What platform?
