Windows 10 64 bit, screen blinking after updates this week, will not restore to previous point, cannot do anything
hi, all was fine, did the windows update earlier this week, rebooted, screen continually flashing.. to the point i cannot run anything, or goto control panel or goto msconfig, etc...
i CAN do the ctrl-alt-delete, restart/troubleshoot, startup settings and go into safe mode (where it does not blink).
as i mentioned i tried to do the low res boot, flashes, also tried to goto last restore point, it works for a bit then says restore failed, nothing has been changed, reboots to blinking screen?
ideas? help? thanks

Go into safe mode and delete the updates you did, probably something with the video card driver update.

Thanks! uninstalling the updates from the 03/14 worked... I guess ill try to install updates one at a time to see which is the issue, and try to resolve that. any ideas on how to prevent it from happening, as i will ultimately needs the security updates and such...
most likely it's the update for the video card not necessary Microsoft updates. So next time look for the drivers update to your video card.
