And to bundle cables together, you can readily get plastic zip locks in any length. Wrap the tie around the cable, feed through the lock and pull snug (not overtightened as noted above).  I use these.

You can get them with a plastic tab you can write upon. These are very useful.

Home Depot if you do not see another source.

Cheap and can buy in bundles, of assorted length is zip ties
