Autorun Remote Desktop - USB Stick

Hi guys

I'm looking to create a USB stick which automatically runs a remote desktop connection when you plug it in.

I've tested an autorun file which opens a batch file which in turn runs MSTSC with the parameters, but it doesn't work on any computer I've tested.

This would be for Windows 7 and above.

Thanks!

Could you paste the batch file along with what autorun files were on the USB?
When you say it doesn't work, can you descibe what happens?

You really would like to have machines configured to always run unknown stuff from unchecked USB sticks? Bad idea ... That is a well-known way to spread viruses.

Putting that aside, what exactly does not work?

Hi guys

Thanks for the help on this.

We were looking to send out USB drives to customers with a preconfigured RDP file to auto run, but it doesn't seem like that's feasible now.

Thanks for the help!
