Antivirus in server

My active Directory is in a Windows 2012 server , in this server i'm sharing the files to the company and all my wokstations ( about 60) are using Bitdefender antivirus system , my question is what do you think about to install the antivirus to this server??

It would be a good idea to install Bitdefender Security for File Servers then.

On a server it is generally necessary to install a Server version of an antivirus.  Trying to install the basic version probably won't work.

Most antivirus companies give away the basic version of their product to consumers, but they draw the line when it comes to servers.  Presumably a company which can afford a server and a Server version of Windows can afford to pay for an antivirus, which seems to be a reasonable presumption.
