Hmail vs Exchange Server

We currently use hmailserver, or an hmail server. We have a need for exchange server functionality. For instance, multiple device and platform sync for all email actions.

Does hmailserver offer this functionality or do we need to use a different program/server?

If yes, would you  be able to walk me though the configuration?

If no, what product or software do you suggest?
