Cannot join workstation to 2016 Server

This is a new server
Does not run DHCP
Trying to join Win 10 Pro to Server
Error is Specified domain either does not exist or could not be contaacted
The laptop is wireless but on the same network, i.e. ip addresses
The Server has a fixed ip address
Ipconfig /all on server is ipv4 address - 10.1.10.10
Default Gateway - 10.1.10.1
DNS Server - 10.1.10.10

ran Powershell
Test-DnsServer -IPAddress 10.1.10.10 -ZoneName "mydomain.com"
Response was "Successful" TCPtried - False UDPTried - True
Wins set to Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP

I suspect there is a DNS error but have run out of ideas, any help would be appreciated

Thanks

And you have statistically assigned an IP address including DNS to the wireless connector?

Does the laptop have the ability to physically connect to the network for testing purposes?

Are other machines able to join the domain?

Try using a wired connection when joining the laptop to the domain.

I would not be surprise if Ipv6 had precedence over IPv4. Seen this happen before.
