Does Brother DCP-T500W & DCP-J562DW hv a fax function & SD or USB slot for direct scanning

I'm looking at the above 2 printers DCP-T500W & DCP-J562DW

I'll need the following 2 functions:

a) a slot (SD or microSD or USB) to save scanned images directly to the SD card or thumb drive
b) a fax function

Does the above 2 printers have the above 2 functions?

yes it has a fax function both are multi-functional printers

you can scan to a USB key from the scanner menu:  Scan - scan to media - select USB

on my Brother printer, there is a panel that you can open that has the slots for connection media devices: USB and camera card slots

I called Brother today:  both models don't come with a fax function/port:
it's the MFC-xxxxx models & not the DCP-xxxxx models that have fax function.

The DCP-T500W does not have an SD slot to directly save a scan while the
other model has it.

The lowest-cost Brother that has a fax port & allows scans to be saved directly to
a media (without a laptop/PC) is MFC-J880DW.

I don't want to have a laptop/PC to be powered on esp when doing a lot of scans
