What browser will run Java?
I just discovered that Firefox 52 will no longer support Java. Chrome and IE dropped support for it a long time ago. What browser can I used now that will run Java? We access a government map web site that requires Java
What do you mean by "Java" here? Are you referring to Java Applet?

See (https://www.java.com/en/download/help/firefox_java.xml) which says in part
"Beginning with Firefox 52 (released March 2017), plug-in support is limited to Adobe Flash, and drops support for NPAPI, impacting plugins for Java, Silverlight, and other similar NPAPI based plugins." However I just noticed that they recommend " using Internet Explorer". Now I just have to figure out where to get a copy of Internet Explorer as it doesn't seem part of Windows 10 (replaced by Edge).

I thought IE had been replaced by Edge and didn't realize it was still available. I just found it so I guess I go back to IE and dump Chrome, Edge and Firefox for the time being.

The problem for me was that the web site I need to use, in fact everyone in the office needs to use, runs on Java and it's up to them to update not me. So all I can do is dump Chrome, Firefox and Edge now until the next change.

Rob4077, my computer in Windows 10 has both Edge and ie8. I remember it's downloaded when I visited a bank web, which only supports ie, but no edge. Try to visit some similar webs, you will have it there.

I discovered that IE is available - all you need to do is enter Internet Explorer in Cortana. I then just saved it to may Taskbar and got rid of the others from the Taskbar
