owa rule to run an application
I have successfully created a rule on outlook to run an application, but this is not possible in OWA or Server side rules.
I need to run such rule without having Outlook opened, like a service or so.
I searched the net to have such application or a service to trigger and application upon receiving an email from certain sender with a certain subject, but I couldn't find

I know, that's why I am looking for another Email Responder / Parser that can run as a service

I don't want Outlook to be open to trigger the rule. Even I don't want to have an outlook installed..
OWA rules / Server Rules cannot trigger an application.
With the Tool you can build a rule where it will run an application when an email sent by x sender with y subject to z mail box.

Without outlook open, what process would you expect to fire the rule? When Outlook is not running, there is nothing on the machine that can possibly know that an email has been sent, or even if and how a user's email may be configured.
