Oh I see, I thought they were the same thing, ie, Hotmail.com reverts to outlook.com. But, you mean the fat client that ships with Win10?

I had no idea you could use a Hotmail account with the Outlook fat client. I assumed the client was only for corporate Exchange clients. So, not only is my question answered, but I also get the bonus of using the client - win win. Many thanks John.

Hi all. Not sure if this question is a no brainer or not. When I log onto MSFT Hotmail, or Outlook, on the right hand side, I get these annoying ads that show up. If I look at the property of the window, it shows some crappy, unknown URL.<br />
My question. Is this part of windows or some ad crap that I can get rid of?<br />
I use a paid sub for McAfee - it doesn't detect it as anything.<br />
