Integration of Cisco CM 6.1 with Avaya SM 7.x
Hi,
I am in the process of integrating Cisco CM 6.1 and Avaya SM 7.x.
Has anyone tested this integration? What works , what doesn't?
There is no test bed and integration needs to be done on live devices. any pointers will be appreciated.
thanks,
Rasheed

2 - I have successfully trunked Cisco CM to Avaya CM with a back-to-back PRI using ISDN switch type 5ESS. It takes lots of tweaking to get calls to go in both directions. You can also try an H.323 trunk between the PBXs, but I've only had partial success with that.
Configuring the dial-plan on the Cisco side is easier than the Avaya side, but that's probably because I have more experience with that. Both Cisco and Avaya have documentation on how to do this, but its only the exact configuration that they used in their testing / lab.
