Copy column before Column A using a macro

Last Modified: 2017-03-21
Dear Experts:

I would like to run a macro that performs the following actions on the currently active worksheet

Search for a column label in Row 1 named 'Path'. If not found a msgbox is to pop up, telling that column label 'path not found' and the macro is to exit.
If found, the whole column (column labeled 'Path') is to be moved before Column A (i.e. not overwriting the data that exists in Column A).
So the Column labeled Path is then located in Column A, the other columns have been shifted to the right.

Help is much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

Regards, Andreas
