I am afraid to tell you that I inadvertently forgot one more requirement. 
 
The column that gets moved in front of Column A should be worked on the following way before being moved: 
 
This column (labeled Path) always has formulas in the respective cells starting from say D2 till the last filled cell in that column (e.g. D2 to D3743 , could be any number of rows depending on the worksheet) 
These cell formulas have to be converted into values before being the whole column gets moved. 
 
Hope this is not too much asking.
