I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

try something like this

<cfif isDefined("FORM.Reset")>
    <cflocation url="#cgi.script_name#" addtoken="false">
</cfif>

 <input type="button" name="Reset" value="Reset">

Thanks...I'll try that...another suggestion that's come to me but I'm positive on how to write the logic is below:

1. create a form for the reset button on the same file...create the logic to check the reset button is being selected.

2. post the form back to the same page and reset the form fields  to ""

Do you have any examples I could lean on for this?
