Set TTL for a single entry in Server 2016 DNS zone file

Well I would have thought it easy enough but I can't seem to find a solution online that doesn't require registry hacking...

How does one set the TTL for a specific DNS entry in Windows 2016 DNS server ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It's not quite clear to me if this is what you are referring to, but try the following.
Open the DNS Management console > go to View > check Advanced > now open your zone and find the record in question > right-click and choose Properties > set the TTL.
