Technically I doubt the content (data) would be stored inside an app. &nbsp;I thought app are program code, and the content is stored in data file(s). &nbsp;And you don't seem to need root privilege to access content for some other apps which came with the phone, like Calendar/Schedule and Memo, both of which can have their data backed up by KEIS.

The fact is that KIES cannot access the alarm content, and the latest alarm app allows to do a sync via Samsung cloud.<br />

Every app is working in a sandbox manner. Unless the app has a sync or export feature, there is no way to access the content without rooting.

I backed my Memos up using KEIS, and there is no export feature in my version of the Memo app, as I've shown in my first question.

Export feature is what you can see in the user interface of the app whereas sync feature is what you cannot see in the user interface of the aop but the app is designed to have access in the background via a cloud account using a software like KIES or third party software.

Android is an open source OS. So, if there is a critical mass of users who want such feature, either Google or a third party developer will try to do it.<br />
