I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,
to bring up online a volume you need to do the command:

upd volume <volume_name> access=readwr

after that it should normally be online.

If it does not you need to query the actlog to see why it keeps on bringing it unavailable.

It might be that TSM doesn't see it any longer: you may want to do the command:
audit library

hope this helps
