I have a Server 2012 R2 Essentials server that has remote anywhere vpn setup but after a SSL cert renewal, the VPN portion is no longer working. &nbsp;In the dashboard, it says I need to run Repair but after running Repair, it doesn't fix it.<br />

Users can connect to the VPN but after connecting, they cannot reach the server. &nbsp;I cannot ping the server either and the users do not have Internet after connecting to the VPN. &nbsp;They are using the remote gateway, DHCP and DNS is from DHCP as well.<br />

Are there any &quot;Advanced&quot; settings on the server or is the Wizard the only place to configure this?<br />
<br />
Also before I start changing settings is there a way to backup the current ones so I don't have to do it manually?<br />

The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is an auto configuration protocol used on IP networks and an extension of the Bootstrap Protocol. DHCP allows for computers to be configured automatically to communicate with each other over an IP network without the need for manual setup by a network administrator. The implementation of DHCP relies on a DHCP server to hand out network configuration information to DHCP-capable clients that request an IP address (and other information required or useful in communicating with other devices on an IP network).
