HP MSA2312i Controller fault
Controller A in our MSA 2312i decided to go down, in the MSA management page the following logs appear.
Rebooting controller A from management page will result in a error that the controller is not in a Up stage.
When connecting via serial with the faulty controller when re-seating it I can see it boot up, however all ip settings are disappeared. Trying to use set network-parameters won't work and result in a error message saying it could not contact the controller.
Is this controller toast and needs it to be replaced, or is there a change to get it back alive (because it still shows some action when connecting via serial)?
Forgot to mention that the MSA is still operational and Controller B is still in working condition, however the MSA is in a degraded state.

So we got a replacement controller, worked fine for 1 day, now this replacement controller got the same message.
And the chassis seems also to be degraded now, is the chassis destroying the controllers in controller slot A?

Woosh... are you kidding me?! This sucks big time.
Even you are very unlucky or you might seem to have a short circuit. Did you contact HPe support?
