Automate Windows Updates with SCCM
Hi
We host many WSUS Servers for our customers. Now the time has come to change this process and do these tasks with SCCM. I know we still need a WSUS server, but read everywhere if I use SCCM we are not allowed to do anything manually on WSUS.
Question 1) Please provide me the best practices how to setup WSUS with SCCM 2012.
Question 2) We need three SCCM collections. One for testing, the other for production and at the last a collection for manually approve updates. Testing and production should be automated. The last collection is for critical server and clients and updates should only manually be approved here. How can I do this?
Also any other recommendations are welcome.
Many thanks in advance.
