Website checklist for browser compatibility?

Hello EE, I can't quite put a term\name to it but have you seen when you go to certain websites and it will have you click a button to run through a sort of checklist to ensure your browser will function properly for the website and then offer the fixes needed like maybe enabling pop-ups, Java version, etc.

What is this and how do I go about getting it for a website we use?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Sorry, that doesn't check for browser compatibility, just HTML validity.
