Opening Windows 10 Devices and Printers taking so long time ?

Hi All,

All of my Windows 10 clients in the AD domain is running very slow when opening Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers ?

Why is this happening ? is this known issue or bug in Windows 10 or the printer server that is running Windows Server 2012 R2

How to fix this issue ? since it is not a problem in Windows 7 computer.

I've updated the driver but still no luck.

We have mostly win10 but don't see that effect. Make sure all printers listed are online and pingable without latency problems.

Somehow all windows 10 is impacted with this bug of Opening Devices and Printers.
I've rebooted the print server and also the laptop, but the problem still persists.

What about my suggestion, did you verify ping times (all below 1 ms?) and see that all installed printers are online?

Yes, I have confirmed all printers are online.
ping is 1 ms since it is local LAN.

Ok.
Take a clean win10 machine, install the printers one by one and test opening the dev&print. after each installation.

How are things?

It is still opening very slowly.

I guess it's because of the User Policy printer using GPP.
