Exchange2013 MAPI
Hi Experts,
when I switch from RPC to MAPI over HTTPS, what exactly I have to do ?
Does my clients have to reconnect ?
Do I have to reboot servers ?
I have EX2013 with 3 server in a DAG with CU15 installed.

yes, but the best practice is to disable MAPIoverHTTPS at organization level and enable only for 3-5 users. After some days if they are ok change for all exchange organization.

I have tested now for myself.
And I get a certificate warning. The server name has a problem .
has it to do with the FQDN on the receive connectors ?

Hey Pavel,
I have tested with 3 Users and I had a CERT problem.
After I have changed the FQDN on the Receiver connector to my special internal URL, it works without CERT warning.
Thanks a lot.

Stop. Receive connector and MAPI over HTTPS are different things.
After switching to MAPIoverHTTPS your server can use different FQDN to connect to server you can see it in Outlook Connection settings. Could you check it?
