asked on MS SQL Server connect issues
I have a RDS Instance I connect to through SSMS.
For some reason... it keeps causing me to connect twice on everything I do.
When I first connect
When I start a new query
When I modify a proc etc...
I don't have to do that with any other instance I connect to whatever version of SQL Server.
And this cropped up recently...
I never had this issue until recently.

Yes... it times out on first attempt every time... unless I am RDP'd to the same EC2 / RDS Server
