Exchange 2013 - Enalbe Activesyncdebuglogging not working

I'm running cmdlets to enable Activesyncdebuglogging for a user. I don't get an error, but it continues to say $false

Cmdlet: Set-CASMailbox -ActiveSyncDebugLogging $true -Identity user1

I was pulling my hair out, because when I run this command it still shows the setting is set to False:

Get-CASMailbox user1| fl *deb*

Result:
ActiveSyncDebugLogging : False
