RDP- Windows 7 home Premium to 7 Pro via VPN
I setup a VPN connection on a Windows 7 Home Premium client, so that it can access a windows 7 Pro on an office domain. I am using RDP for this connection. I have set this same connection up for numerous devices without an issue, until now.
I made sure that the both computers have RDP enabled and I have the correct credentials.
The user is listed as an authenticated user on the remote computer.
From what I read, it seems that home premium should be able to access other computers, but home premium can't be accessed using RDP.
This restriction should not impact my scenario, or is it?

I was able to ping the machine. The Firewall settings are open for RDP on the HM Premium machine.
Other computers are able to access office computers using the same VPN setup.
Thank you Daniel, I just tried and was able to ping the Pro machine.

I went over the VPN setup on our Sonic Wall. I discovered where the issue was,I had the wrong network selected in the access list. I should have been X0 Subnet and I had the X5 selected.
I never reconsidered these settings as the VPN was connecting and instead, I was able to ping the Pro machine.
I really appreciate everybody's help with resolving this!

I have tried to connect with both the computer name and IP address. I have also tried other computers on the domain.
This leads me to believe the problem is on the Home Premium machine.
