Steps to Migrate Exchange Server 2010 to 2016 on new hardware
I am undertaking the task of migrating our exchange 2010 server to 2016 on new hardware. Both are currently Physical servers and we plan to keep them that way. This is a small business with approximately 25 mailboxes. I have read some articles online and have some reference material as what preliminary steps to take and what i may need to change on 2016 to receive email and requirements on outlook. The info I have seems for the  exchange seems to be more specific to installation on the same hardware. Making sure as I will have limited downtime how do i proceed on a separate server from the exchange 2010 server.

I have been on that page but it appears to me as its being loaded on the same hardware.
