Hi,

I have had a notebook hard drive fail, and from what i can see it is getting no power what so ever to the drive.

I am thinking that it might be the PCB Board failed.

It is one of Seagate SSHD Model ST1000LM014 1TB 8GB Nand and 1TB Disk

I am thinking maybe of purchasing another Hard drive exactly the same and changing the boards over if I purchase a HDD of the exact same model should I be able to just change the boards over or is there something else i will need to do

Thanks Adam
