Seagate dead problem

Seagate SATA Problem
May be dear or not, but does not show in BIOS or by SATA enclosure,


when connected , makes sound tick tick only twice and then does not make any sound..

Please suggest a solution or hint to sort this problem out.

Picture is not uploading. Where is model number mentioned?

i would check if the drive is detected in the bios of another PC (hook it up as 2nd drive)
if it is not detected - not much you can do
if you need the data - use a recovery servive, and be prepared to pay 300$ and more; here one with a good reputation :

it is an 500 Gb 5400RPM model drive, so if you want to replace it, select a 7200 RPM one, or better an SSD - you'll be amazed how fast your system becomes
