You're welcome.  I have dealt with aspiring writers and singers and musicians for many many years.  If you want to 'be' any of those things, you must just do and be obsessive compulsive about it.  Even then you have to 'strike a chord' with people that want more of what you are putting out.

           I am sorry for the slight delay in getting back to your question.  The site which I have subscribed to is freedomwithwriting.com.  This company sends a free newsletter each week advertising for paid writing jobs offered by a variety of magazine publishing firms to its email subscribers.  Seeing that I have not had any personal experience with them yet, I can not provide any firm endorsements or referrals to anyone.  I will be checking them out though in the foreseeable future.

           If anyone has a chance to check out freedomwithwriting.com and has input they would like to share, I would love to read it.  Or, perhaps someone has dealt with them before and has important insights to share.  Good or bad, I am always interested in knowing the scoop before delving into any kind of project.

If you want to write then write everyday.  Take classes at the local colleges and network with other people that write.  Some of them will have been published and can tell you more about what it takes.  There are Thousands of hopeful writers in your town.  

If you read about the published writers, all of them network with other writers.  If you try to do this all on your own, your chances are extremely very infinitestimally small.  Like musicians, writers need an audience.  Without them, you're just a writer in your own mind.

If you just search the internet, you are going to run into scam after scam.  Hopeful people pay big bucks for nothing at all.
