MS-Access not responding

I am using Access 2007 with win pro 7. My form contains a big query and it work just fine but when I click the mouse anywhere inside the form the message Access Not Responding appears in top line with program name and the system halt.

Any suggestion please.
Thanks in advance

1. Do you have enough memory (say 8 GB on a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit machine)?

2. Uninstall Office 2007 completely (all bits) from Programs and Features. Restart. Now install Office 2007 fresh and patch fully.  3 Service Packs plus patches.

3. If the above fail, make a new, test Windows User Profile (Account). Log into the new Windows Account and test Access.

It is "normal" behaviour for Access when you run huge query. Display some message like "rinning... Please, wait" before query and clear if after it is finished.

There is also the chance that something in the code (user defined function) is causing a memory leak....probably a recordset remains open when you need to close it...
Every since around A2007/A2010 ... the legendary 'not responding' seems to appear on most Microsoft apps (including Access) ... even Windows Explorer. Very unlikely it has anything to do with memory. I see this ALL the time .. and ignore. Because, short of something very unusual ... the app IS actually responding ... but probably just slow.
