e-commerce site using wordpress

Dear EE,

I did a hosting of a domain on godaddy and I have the wordpress install. I have access to the c panel, I would like to have a theme with a built-in store that can be used worldwide.

Please any suggestions will be helpful as I am trying to do this on my own.

Thank you.

I haven't used WP Ecommerce but I have some familiarity with WooCommerce - it does allow you to set up shipping zones worldwide with reasonable ease, and accept payments from PayPal with essentially just a PayPal email address. There are lots of limitations on what WooCommerce itself can do, but there are also lots of free plugins around that extend its features (some of best plugins cost and are quite pricey though). On the whole, WooCommerce seems to be pretty good quality reliable software.
As Lucas says, it is important to use a theme that is written to integrate with WooCommerce (or whatever you choose to use). I'd suggest looking at the top 10 or so themes on the themeforest website (by popularity). Personally, I'd look for one that offers lifetime updates (otherwise you need to keep paying annually for updates) as well as WooCommerce compatibility.
Is there anything else we can help with on this question?
